This map shows the ambient gamma dose rate (ODL), averaged over 24 hours, at the ca. 1,700 active measuring stations that form the ODL measuring network operated by BfS.

Find location

The local dose rate is largely constant at a specific place - but in the short term, rain, snow and wind may influence the measurement data. Seasonal variations can also be observed. In addition to natural processes, technical problems may may lead to changes in the measurement data.
